Rebecca Raffa / Andersen Sales Coordinator

We are proud to welcome the one and only Rebecca to our team. Although she has only been with us for a short time, she thrived at Andersen Corporate for 15 years. As many of our customers already know, Rebecca is truly a brand, known for her passion, dedication and experience for all things Andersen. Not to mention, her ability to light up a room with her energy and humor.

She is a self-proclaimed window nerd. In her words, ‘Windows are overlooked as a main design element. They are the only material that is part of the interior and exterior. On the outside, they set the tone for the architecture and inside, windows are furniture for the walls and the hardware is the jewelry. I’m here to show everyone windows are prettier from Builders’ General!’

When asked why she choose Builders’ General, she replied, ‘It’s a cultural fit. I align with the Shaheen family. They, like myself, consistently act in the best interests of the customer. And I just want to be around BGS people.’

Fun Facts: Rebecca loves to travel anytime, anywhere and everywhere, but there is nothing more she loves than her cat. She thrives in nature, energized by water and trees. We know she’s in the right place as she says, ‘I love the smell of wood!’

You’ll likely see Rebecca in the field advising, assisting and expounding on the importance of windows and spreading her light.

George Flohs / Kitchen Cabinet Designer

We’re excited to shine a light on the newest member of our kitchen design team, George!

George joined us in early 2024 after running a highly successful family cabinetry business in Cliffwood Beach, originally founded by his father in 1951. Growing up in the business, George began helping out after school at just 14 years old. His father instilled in him the core values that have shaped his success: be transparent, show respect, and most importantly—listen.

After his father’s passing in 1989, George and his brothers took over the business, successfully running it until the family decided to sell in 2023. A chance meeting with Builders’ General rekindled George’s passion for function, style, and design in cabinetry—and we’re so fortuna ``te it did!

George brings an incredible depth of experience, a calm and thoughtful approach, and a true appreciation for his customers, always following through with unmatched dedication. In just eighteen months, he has become a true superstar on our team.

Outside of work, George has been happily married for 30 years and is a proud dad to Carter (26) and twins Trevor and Kyra (21).

Fun Facts: George loves heavy metal rock, Dateline podcasts, and cruising in his classic car—a gorgeous 1969 fire brick red AMC AMX Javelin. He’s also an avid hunter and fisherman.
